Almost every collision on our roads is due to driver error. With the correct training those errors can be predicted. A common reaction from previous clients is that they feel that they have been driving for years with their eyes closed

In 2003, 876 people lost their lives in the UK due to acts of violence. However, far more people were killed by the drivers of motor cars on our roads. The figures are staggering

The facts are:

3500 people are killed on the roads in the UK every year
40,000 people are seriously injured in the UK every year
300,000 road casualties per year one third of all crashes are rear end shunts
one quarter of all crashes are due to drivers cutting across another's priority
one sixth of all crashes are as a result of losing directional control

Alarmingly, drivers tend to have repeat collisions:

If you have shunted a vehicle in front of you, you are twice as likely to do so again

If you have been involved in any sort of moving collision, you are four times more likely to be involved in a similar collision in the next year

Our Advanced training can be arranged to suit all requirements. We are not tied to a strict syllabus or timetable so there can be a great deal of flexibility in tailoring the right package for you. Many of our clients have asked for hazard awareness and road safety training on behalf of their children who have recently passed the driving test. In this instance we can provide the Pass Plus award and at the same time teach young drivers the skills of observation and car control that will stay with them for life . . .

All of our instruction is based on the Police system of driving, which is the system used to train Police traffic patrol officers for high speed emergency response driving. This level of driving is of a much higher standard than the level required by the advanced driving institutions

The Police system of car control is emulated by driving institutions such as the IAM and ROSPA

All training is usually provided in your own vehicle, or in a vehicle hired for the duration of the course

Advanced training is normally arranged as an intensive one day course and can be undertaken anywhere in the north of England
