The Keys to Success

quote On your Check Test, the SE is looking for exactly the same skills as they are on a Part 3 . . . and the main area is the Core Competencies. The most important area of instruction is identifying and dealing with driver errors, so make sure you know how to put these skills to use quote

If you have any doubts about your ability to pass the check test, you need to take specialist training from an experienced teamEvery ADI has to undergo a check test with an SE ADI at regular intervals during their career. If the SE decides that your teaching or instruction are not up to scratch, your career and your livelihood could be under threat . . . the DSA can take away your 'green card' if you don't perform well enough on your check test

So, you've recently passed part 3 and you're fully qualified. Well done! It's a great feeling isn't it?

Or perhaps you've been an instructor for a while and you're hoping to improve your grade and your business?

If you're looking for superb quality Check Test Training, well done! You've found it. ADIT provide Check Test Training that can help you get the results you'd like

Contrary to many of the stories you may have heard, it is possible to achieve a '6' on your first Check Test. We know, because we've seen it a few times!

Of all the ADI's in the UK, at present only 7% have achieved a Grade 6. This fact places Jed's achievement into true context and highlights what a remarkable result it is.

For most ADI's everything goes along just fine. You go about your day to day business, teaching learners and Pass Plus courses, until one day when the postman arrives. You pick up the small innocent looking envelope and open it . . .

. . . You're surprised when you see that it's from the DSA, but your surprise turns to fear and anxiety when you read further and discover that it's an invitation for a check test!

Every so often, all qualified instructors have to undergo a check test, a test to confirm their ability to continue to instruct. Experienced instructors usually have a check test every 4 years, but newly qualified instructors can confidently expect their first 'check' within 12 months of qualifying.

Check Tests regularly cause a feeling of doom and dread among instructors. The simple truth is that a check test is just a driving lesson . . .

Check Test Training should be much more than simply preparing for a test. When you discover how to improve your skills as an instructor, your daily routine will be less stressful and your pass rates will improve. Think about the effect that first class training could have for your business?

How are Check Tests Marked?

The check test is marked in a very similar format to the Part 3 test. On Part 3 you will have been given a 'double grading', ie 4-5 or 5-5. On a check test you will be given a single grading figure only.

The result of your Check test will be 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 or 6.

Grades 1, 2 and 3 are unsatisfactory grades.

Grades 4, 5, and 6 are satisfactory grades
