The Keys to Success

"The most important skill to display on your Part 3 test are the Core Competencies . . . fault identification, fault analysis and remedial action. Our Part 3 recovery courses place a very heavy emphasis on understanding just how to use them!"
Dave Hartley Grade 6 ADI Trainer

PST 11

Try to make sure that all your lessons as a qualified instructor as as well prepared as your Part 3 testNow that your training is over and you have a green card, all the stress and worry are gone, soon to be a dim and distant memory

You can now teach learners, and get paid for doing it too!

Very well done, you've worked hard, and I hope that the information in this site has gone some way towards helping you. If it has, please tell us so that we can learn from your experiences and help others

Now is the time for you to move on to pre set test 11

Pre set test 11 is every driving lesson you give from this point on, throughout your career

You trained hard to give the SE a good standard lesson. You can do it, and your learners deserve the same attention that you gave the SE

As an ADI you'll spend an awful lot of your working life alone except for your learners, and your learners would find it very difficult to give you accurate feedback on your performance as an instructor. Only the SE ADI on check tests and the examiners who test your learners can do that

When people work alone for long periods, there really are only two ways to go . . . you can go down, and let your hard earned skills slowly slip away . . . or you can go up, constantly trying to improve and being self critical. If you do nothing, you are very unlikely to stay at the same level. Human beings just don't tend to do that

We'll try to get more and more information for you on this site about continued professional development in the near future

We'll also be working on sections to help you build your business and keep those customers rolling in. There are so many ADI's these days complaining of dwindling client numbers, yet there are others who regularly turn new business away because they are far too full

It's amazing how just small changes to your level of 'customer care' can have a huge impact on the success of your business

For now, we wish you the very best in your new career and we hope to help you long into the future
